Giant-born / Ruler

Hel

Ruler of the realm of the dead

Hel rules the vast underworld realm of the same name โ€” the destination of all who die of old age, illness, or any death outside of battle. Her appearance is half-living flesh and half corpse-blue or black, symbolising her dominion over both states. Unlike Valhalla's warrior-feast, Hel's realm is cold, dim, and still โ€” not punishment, but the quiet finality of ordinary death.
